New? Read this first.

So after about ten minutes of staring and erasing every first sentence I must admit that I do not want to suck at this.  If there is anything that I love, it is talking, sharing, and imparting wisdom.  Ever since I became a retreat team leader in my youth group I have loved sharing my thoughts and experiences to help other people.  But I am putting the cart before the horse.  I am a male in his late twenties whose biggest desire in life is to help other people.  I work in student affairs in higher education to help the college students I interact with.  I have a bachelors and a masters in Psychology.  I love fantasy books and movies.  I play video games incessantly (warhammer online at the moment).  I love playing Dungeons and Dragons (D&D from here on out).  I know how to play clarinet, piano, and saxophone.  I am a Roman Catholic that secretly wants to go back to mass and believe like I used to, but I am too lazy to actually do it.  I am mildly obsessed (and when I say mildly I mean UBER) with show tunes and broadway.  I love to act and speak in public.  Oh yeah, and I am gay.

All of the above mentioned things (and more!) will be the point of this blog.  On a daily basis we meld our different identities to create our personality.  Sometimes those indenties fit like a lock and key.  Sometimes they fit like a square peg in a round hole.  I want to explore both instances in my life and provide some insight about how my homosexual fits with my different identities.  I invite you to walk through with me during my journey of self-exploration.  Comment as you feel inspired to.  Lastly, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy it!
